Natalija Milovanović (1995) is a poet and translator. Her first poetry collection Samoumevno [Taken for Granted] (Center za slovensko književnost, Aleph 200, 2021) was awarded the Best Debut at the 37th Slovenian Book Fair and was selected for Pranger 2022. The second poetry collection Tuja mehkoba [Foreign Softness] (Center za slovensko književnost, Aleph 217) was published in 2025 and won the Veronika Award for best Slovenian collection of the past year. It was nominated for the Jenko Award and Kritiško sito Award. Both books were included in the booklet 10 Books from Slovenia, in which 21 critics select best books of the past year and present them in English.
Various texts also appeared in Slovenian and Serbian literary journals as well as on the poetry platform Versopolis. In co-authorship with Tanja Božić, she wrote the performative poetry dialogue Udomačevanje domačih živali/Pripitomljavanje domaćih životinja [Domestication of Domestic Animals, bilingual] (self-published, 2019).
Her poems have so far been translated into English, German, Spanish, Macedonian, Checz, Marati and Korean. She translates Serbian literature into Slovene for the project Connecting Emerging Literary Artists (CELA), and Slovene literature into Serbian for the anthology Rukopisi, yearly collection of U30 prose and poetry from ex‑Yugoslavia. In 2025 she joined the Pranger festival team as the executive producer.
