Gašper Primožič is a concert accordionist, teacher and conductor. He graduated with honours from the Carinthian State Conservatory in Klagenfurt, where he studied accordion with Prof. Roman Pechmann. In 2013, he completed his postgraduate studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz under the internationally renowned Prof. Janne Rättyä. He further developed his artistic skills through seminars and masterclasses with distinguished accordionists from Slovenia and abroad.
As a soloist and chamber musician, he regularly performs in Slovenia and internationally. He is a member of the ensembles Etnomad and Rojotango Orchestra and collaborates with actress and singer Lara Jankovič and chanson singer Romana Krajnčan.
He teaches accordion at the Radovljica Music School and conducts the Accordion Orchestra of the Radovljica Music School and the Anton Tomaž Linhart Cultural Association Radovljica, the oldest orchestra of its kind in Slovenia. He has received several awards at national and international competitions. Through his artistic, educational and conducting work, he contributes significantly to the development of accordion music and musical life in Slovenia.
