Katja Bevk (1979) is a library science graduate and has been employed in the Anton Tomaž Linhart Library in Radovljica since 2006. From 2012 until 2014, she was the president of the regional library association and from 2017 until 2021, she was the co-president of the Slovenian Library Association. In 2025, she began a member mandate in the Slovenian Reading Association supervisory board. Aside from typical library work, she does lectures for parents on the importance of reading, heads two adult reading clubs and literary events.
Katja is constantly taking care of encouraging and raising the reading culture and has in 2024, with the monograph Spodbujanje bralne kulture v Knjižnici Antona Tomaža Linharta Radovljica: Knjižnica – vesolje zakladov skozi 20 let, received the title of library specialist.
