Urška Bračko (1991) holds a bachelor’s degree in comparative literature and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in publishing, with a thesis on new forms of book clubs and book box subscriptions. She began publishing book-related content under the name Booknjiga while still a student and launched the website of the same name in 2018. As one of the first book bloggers in Slovenia, she established the book blog format; she writes about books, bookstores, and literary journeys, and conducts interviews with authors. She collaborates with Slovenian publishers, moderates discussions, reports on literary and other events, and organizes gatherings for book bloggers. She writes for LUD Literatura, AirBeletrina, and Bukla. She has worked at the publishing houses UMco, KUD Sodobnost International, and Učila International; at the latter two, she helped develop the projects “Date with a Book” and “Book of the Month.” In 2018 and 2019, she was part of the PR team for the Slovenian Book Fair. As a jury member, she participated in the “Espressne zgodbe” (Beletrina) literary contest, the “Naj pesem” (Beletrina) contest, the NMN Literary Challenge, and the “Rdeča nit” contest. At the “Na meji nevidnega” convention, she organizes roundtable discussions on contemporary Slovenian fantasy literature. From 2022 to 2026, she edited content for the online theater portal SiGledal, and in 2026 she began editing content for the Oder portal. When inspired, she writes poetry, short stories, and plays. As an author, she published her short story in the anthology *Spreganje glagola prihajati*; two of her poems were published in the anthology on housing issues *Ne boš kupil predpražnika* (*You Won’t Buy a Doormat*), she also publishes poetry on the online platform Literatura, and her play *Stanovanjce, stanovanjce, kje si?* (*Tenants, Tenants, Where Are You?*) was staged as a staged reading at the Pionirski Theater. She has been a member of the Pranger team since 2025.
