Marjeta Prelesnik Drozg (1965), professor of Spanish and ethnologist, works in the library of the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. She translates contemporary fiction and poetry from Spanish and Catalan into Slovene. She has collaborated with various literary festivals such as Vilenica (Etzikoak anthology of contemporary Basque literature), Fabula (Goytisolo, Sáncez Rugeles), Days of Poetry and Wine.
Since 2004 she has been a consultant for the Vilenica Literary Festival for Spanish and Hispanic American Literature.
