Nežka Struc, born in Maribor, lives in Ljubljana. Poet and anthropologist, she is self-employed in culture as a producer and literature writer. She is the author of the poetry collections Nihanja (Hiša poezije, 2017, zbirka Sončnica) and Do severnega sija (NUZ Ignor, 2021). She occupies herself with questions on the audible, visual and spatial interpretation of poetry (exhibition Prostor poezije: prostorska postavitev poezije; vocal interpretation of Šalamun’s volume Vse kar sem objel je ušlo; interpretation and translation of Karmine Šilec’s poetry, DERT, endemične pesmi; spatial installation and vocal composition as part of the performance pre_več by Dejan Koban). In 2017, she co-translated the Bronisław Malinowski anthropological classic Argonauts of the Western Pacific at the Aristej publishing house. She participates in Ignor, a platform for literature, sounding, visual arts and performance. She publishes her contributions in literary journals (Poetikon, ludliteratura.si, Vrabec Anarhist).
She is part of the Pranger Festival and Pesniški turnir teams, as well as the office of Ljubljana, UNESCO City of Literature.
