Mladen Pavičič, born 1961, graduated from the Faculty of Arts in 1987. From the beginning of December 1987 until the end of the school year, he taught at the Vida Janežič Secondary School of Social Sciences and General Culture, and in October 1988 he began his lecturing career at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. After four years, he continued his career at the Loránd Eötvös University (better known by its acronym ELTE) in Budapest, where he still teaches. In the academic year 1995/96 he taught at the University of Cracow and the University of Budapest. In his younger years, he regularly taught at the Summer School of Slovenian Language, and in recent years at the Seminar of Slovenian Language, Literature and Culture. He regularly writes articles and participates in conferences, and is a lecturer of Slovenian Language at the Centre for Slovenian as a Second and Foreign Language. He lives in Budapest.
