
Petra Koršič is a critic, editor, author of the radio show Rhyme into the ether – Rhyme into the wind (Radio Student), author of the poetry cycles Translation on the Window, Criticism to nudity, On the Poetic Tandem, Space in/and Poems, New Book through Criticism and the synergy cycle AD HOC, which combines poetry, music and fine arts. She is also an essayist, short story writer and a poet. She has published five books of poetry: Furlanka je dvignila krilo / Rosso di sera bel tempo si spera (2017), Bog z mano / God be with Me and Manna (2019), Moja zrnka / My pomegranate seeds (in Štirje kvarti / Four quarters (2023)), Ciprese / Cypresses (2024), Zlato jajce / The Golden Egg (2024). She has been nominated several times, received the Lirikonfestov zlat 2016, an award for an award-winning poem from the Slavic Society of Slovenia, in 2024 she received the Stritar Award from the Slovenian Writers’ Association for Criticism, her collection Mirijada srca / Myriad of Heart was nominated for the Svetlobnica award 2024, and in 2025 she received the first Mladika award for poetry for the cycle Votivne slike / Votive images. Her poems have been translated into foreign languages, chosen in selections and for a textbook. She presents them at festivals at home and abroad.
