Festival Pranger offers a programme destined for up-and-coming and lucid literary critics, writing in Slovene, who have limited experiences, have not published a larger number of critics in literary revues, daily newspapers or broadcasted them on air. \u201cYoung\u201d in Young Critique does not refer to the years or status of the critic, but to the extent of his or hers experience. Our aim is to support and motivate development of new critical voices and enrich the field of literary criticism in Slovenia.<\/p>\n
In the past years, the programme included a competition for a literary critique, written about one of the Pranger’s chosen poetry collections and an award: Pranger \u2013 Young Critique, given out to the most promising author.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
