I was born in 1979 in Novo mesto, Slovenia, where I attended high school and after that graduated in communication science at the Faculty for social studies in Ljubljana.
My first book was titled Do resniènosti izsanjan svet (The World Dreamed Out Into Reality, 1994) and was followed by Dober tek! (Enjoy your meal!, 1997), Ej! (Hey!, Goga Publishing House, 2001), Štafeta hvaležnosti (Relay of Gratefulness, Litera Publishing House, 2005) which was nominated for the Veronika prize, Dvojnovidni (Double-sighted, KUD Kentaver, 2012) and Kresnièke (Fireflies, LUD Šerpa, 2012).
After having won the first Slovenian slam competition in 2003 I recorded one of my poems as a guest of the MC N’toko’s debut album Cesarjeva nova podoba (Emperor’s New Clothes, Nika, 2003). Some of my poems have, among others, obtained voice in the theatre play of Mojca Simoniè titled Ženska (Woman, 2010), while DOST! (ENOUGH!) was also set to music in the play Nepozabne (The Unforgettable, Caffe Teater, 2010).
In 2007 I obtained the Zlata ptica prize for literature.
