Nina Dragičević is a poet, essayist, and composer with a Master’s degree in sociology. She published four books: the novel Kdo ima druge skrbi (2014), essay collections Slavne neznane (2016) and Med njima je glasba (2017), and the poetry book Ljubav reče greva (2019). Her texts were translated into English, German, Czech and Spanish. In 2019, she was the author in focus at the City of Women international festival of contemporary arts. Nina is a member and an associate of the Slovene Writers’ Association for which she has been hosting literary talks at the Slovenian Book Fair.
In 2018, she was the first poet to be awarded both the jury and the audience award at the Poetry Tournament. The same year she received a certificate of recognition for outstanding academic success by University of Ljubljana and a certificate of recognition by the Faculty of Social Sciences. In 2018, she was the finalist of the Palma Ars Acoustica international competition. In 2019, her poetry book Ljubav reče greva was the finalist of both the Veronika and Jenko Award competitions.
