Muanis Sinanović (1989) is the author of the poetry collections Štafeta okoli mestne smreke (Relay Race around the City Spruce Tree, KUD France Prešeren, 2011), for which he won the Best First Book Award 2012, and Pesmi (Poems, KUD France Prešeren, 2014). His third collection Dvovid (Litera Publishing House) will be published in 2016. He is on the arts desk at Radio Študent. He has been chosen as a critic at the Pranger Festival, a gathering of poets, critics and translators of poetry, for 2016 and 2017. In 2015 he participated in the Golden Boat Poetry Translation Workshop. He has led debates in the literary field at Literodrom, the Slovenian Book Days and elsewhere. He has performed at the prominent Slovenian festivals, Trnovski terceti and Živa književnost, and performed readings in the Czech Republic, Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He has published fiction and reviews in prominent Slovenian, Serbian and Croatian magazines. Since 2016 he has been the editor of the book collection Nova znamenja at the Litera Publishing House.
