Muanis Sinanović (1989) is a poet, writer, and a critic/reviewer. He has published four books of poetry: Štafeta okoli mestne smreke (KUD France Prešeren, 2011, award for the debut of the year), Pesmi (KUD FP, 2014), Dvovid (Litera, 2016) and Krhke Karavane (LUD Literatura, 2020). In 2020, his selected poems have been published in Serbia under the title Noćni nomadi (Dom kulture studentski grad, translated by Ivan Antić). Earlier, Izohipse, bilingual book of his selected poems has been published at Serbian Cultural Centre Danilo Kiš (2016, Ivan Antić). He has also published a short novel Anastrofa (2017, Litera). Book of essays titled Beat v svetu is expected to be published soon at LUD Šerpa publishing house. He is writing reviews and essays on the topic of literature, movie, music, and theatre, publishing them in classic and online magazines such as LUD Literatura, Vrabec Anarhist, Odzven, Ekran … In 2019, his text was selected at the competition for the best essay on the topic of contemporary Slovenian literature, called by LUD Literatura magazine. His poems have been translated into several languages and included in international and domestic anthologies. In the past, he participated in Pranger festival as a critic, worked at Radio Študent and co-edited the IDIOT magazine.
