Dejan Koban

Dejan Koban is born in 1979. He works at Slovene national television (RTV Slovenija) as editor of picture and sound. He is co-organizer of poetry evenings and festival called Mlade rime (Menza pri koritu, Ljubljana). Together with Veronika Dintinjana presents young and unknown poets from all over Slovenia. He is founder of book programme called Mala ignorirana  knjiga (Little ignored book) and book collection called Demo. Normal reading of poetry is very boring for him so he interprets his poems in several music and sound collectives like Nevemnevem (I don’t know I don’t know), Jagvetintejagvetinte and Nimam?pojma (I have no ? Idea). He published his first book at high school (Tebi(To You), 1997). He is ashamed of it. In 2008 he published his second book called Metulji pod tlakom (Butterflies underpressure).
He is co-editor of poetry antology Mlade rime ena (Mhorjeva družba, 2011) and editor of first book of short stories by Monika Vrečar (Kdo je najel sonce, LUD Šerpa, 2012).
At the end of year 2013 he published his third book, Razporeditve (Allocations, LUD Šerpa, 2013).
